School Uniform

At Woodlea we value school uniform as we believe it helps children feel a sense of belonging to a community and a sense of pride in themselves and their school. We believe that all children, wearing the school uniform, help to create an atmosphere of learning and it instils in the children a culture of coming to school to do their very best.

Our School uniform is

Black or grey trousers, shorts, skirts or pinafores

Green and white checked dress

White polo shirt

Green jumper 

Green cardigan 

Black smart school shoes;

 

As children take part in a lot of outside learning they can have in their PE bag black jogging trousers to change into.

All children should also come to school with a waterproof jacket and have wellies available in school.

 

Hair accessories should be in the school colours. They should be simple, smart and in keeping with the ethos of this policy. The school colours are;

• green
• White
• Grey
• Black

 

If children have their ears pierced, then they should wear studs only.

• If children have any other type of earrings, we will ask parents or the child to remove them.

 

PE Kit

Green or white t-shirt

Plain black or grey shorts or joggers

Sports trainers or black plimsolls

 

During the winter months, children (and staff) are encouraged to wear thermal under layers to keep warm when outside.

Our uniform is available to purchase from the school office or online (click here).  Please note that full payment is required before goods are supplied and we aim to fullfil all orders within 2 weeks, but please be advised that during the summer term delivery may take longer.
